Optimal design and performance analysis of Rotating Power Flow Controller

Abstract In this paper, a scheme of rotating power flow controller (RPFC) is proposed, which can flexibly and effectively reduce the voltage deviation under disturbance distributed generation load side. Firstly, based on prototype new with rated capacity 40 kVA, two-dimensional finite element model core component RPST established. Then optimal parameter combination in determined by Taguchi experiment method weight calculation. Finally, Matlab, Maxwell, Simplorer are used to realize joint simulation field-circuit coupling. The results show that regulation efficiency factors RPFC increased 1.4% 2.7% respectively combination, provides reference for design engineering application large-capacity RPFC.
